Donations to Hope Lives Foundation are voluntary and are put to use quickly for people in need (food, education, gau seva, relief and more). Because of this, donations are generally non-refundable. However, we will gladly help in the genuine cases below.
When we offer a refund
- Duplicate payment: you were charged more than once for the same donation.
- Wrong amount: an incorrect amount was charged because of a technical error or a clear typing mistake, reported promptly.
- Payment deducted but not confirmed: money left your account but the donation was not recorded as successful.
How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] within 7 days of the payment.
- Share your name, phone number, amount, date and the payment/transaction ID.
- We will verify the details and reply within 2–3 working days.
Refund timeline
Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method. They usually reach your account within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Failed payments: if your payment failed and the amount was debited, it is normally auto-reversed by your bank within 5–7 working days. Please contact us if it is not.
Not eligible
- Change of mind after a successful donation.
- Requests made after 7 days, unless caused by our error.
